Over the past 12 months much attention has been given to the decline in the number of women at the senior executive, CEO and Board levels in Australia. Female representation in the boardrooms and executive suites of corporate WA remains disproportionately low. Join us for the lunchtime event with one of WA’s select few female ASX 200 directors as she shares experiences and insights from her journey to success.
Diane Smith-Gander is a Director of Wesfarmers Limited and of the National Broadband Network Company Limited. She is also an independent Director of Basketball Australia, chairs the NBL Commission and is a past Chairperson of the Australian Sports Drug Agency. Diane will join the board of CBH Group in 2011.
Prior to embarking on a career as independent director, Diane held senior executive roles at Westpac Banking Corporation and was a partner at McKinsey & Company.
In addition to Diane’s corporate achievements she is also the operator of a successful commercial vineyard in Margaret River.
