What are the Benefits of a Mastermind Group?

Guidelines for Participants

  • Harmony and respect are the key words to a successful mastermind group.
  • Attendance and commitment to the group and yourself.
  • Confidentiality is a must! Do not discuss what goes on outside the meeting.
  • Agree to respect other’s work by not using or copying their ideas without permission.
  • Active participation in discussions – whether asking questions, highlighting your own experiences, or recommended reading or business services/resources.
  • Give feedback only when relevant to your experience or knowledge.
  • Be mindful of time and not dominate.
  • No personal criticism. Judge actions not the person.
  • Bring solutions –v-­‐ problems.
  • Be on time and ready to participate. Turn off mobile phones and be ‘there’..

What is a Mastermind Group?

Business Masterminds is a group of business people who come together to share ideas, experiences and knowledge with other like-­‐minded people to improve their entrepreneurial skills. It is a very useful tool to help check and strengthen strategies and ideas. The strength of a Mastermind Group is in the diversity of the participants. Each person provides vital skills and knowledge from their own unique perspective and experience.

A Mastermind Group will share values: Have a generosity of spirit, an openness to new ways of thinking, a willingness to trust, and a desire to assist others. This means we are always sharing, always learning and always growing.

So if this sounds like you – then you are in the right place. This is where we can – connect – communicate – collaborate..

How Business Mastermind Groups Work

Each meeting – held monthly – we work on different business topics. It might be a business idea, or an opportunity to work on a challenge from someone’s business. It could be an open forum for sharing business insights. Or it might be a knowledge session to learn new skills. By the end of each session, the idea is to leave feeling reinvigorated and ready to face new challenges.

We know that everyone is very busy and not all of the sessions will be relevant to you. To make it easy to participate you don’t have to sign-­‐up or commit to attend every session. Simply let us know if you would like to attend. Numbers will be limited so please let us know as soon as possible to make sure there is space available.

Business Women Mastermind sessions are $20.00pp each month to attend. There is no need to prepare for meetings, just come along, join the discussion and start sharing ideas. Bring along your notebooks and some cash to purchase your coffee and/or morning tea.

Meetings will last for a maximum 90 minutes. Laugh a lot. Life is too short to take it too seriously…
